Our Team

Fees
TRANSPARENT &
COMPETITIVE
Your Side Legal are committed to providing transparent and competitive professional fees.
We understand that navigating our justice system is often overwhelming and the financial impact of legal proceedings can extend to your loved ones. Your Side Legal offer a FREE initial phone consultation, with no obligation to continue with our services.
We structure our legal fees and cost agreements to ensure they are transparent and in accordance with the Legal Profession Uniform Law Application Act 2022. We understand one of the first questions a client will generalky ask is 'how much will this cost me'. We are committed to ensuring our clients do not have to worry about unexpected legal costs and whilst each case is unique, we can provide a fixed fee agreement for most matters once we understand what work is required to be completed.
Should your matter proceed to trial, you may wish to instruct a particular barrister to conduct your trial. Your Side Legal will prepare your matter and brief the barrister on your behalf. We will also work with the barrister as your instructing solicitor and upon request, can engage experts and consultants when required.
LEGAL AID
We accept clients who are funded by the state in relation to certain matters.
If you are unsure whether you are eligible for a grant of Legal Aid, Your Side Legal can assist in preparing and lodging a Legal Aid application on your behalf to assess your representation eligibility.
